Camp Half-Blood, Brooklyn Summer 2010 |

|
Per Week Fee: $375 (2011 registration materials are also available) So, there’s this kid named Percy who’s been kicked out of every school he’s ever attended. Diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia, he’s found himself on the margins of all things academic. Strange things have always happened to him but a field trip to the Greek history museum goes absolutely nuts. Percy is forced to take refuge at a place called Camp Half-Blood on Long Island, NY where (as the Gods would have it) it’s revealed that he’s a demigod: child of one of the major Greek Gods and a mortal woman. And, he’s not alone. Turns out the Gods have been busy and their numerous demigod offspring are left to save themselves, the World and Olympus! Structure: Camp Half-blood, Brooklyn will operate as a traveling camp based in Prospect Park. To see our recent coverage in the NYTimes, click here. Activities Include: Claiming Ceremony - Discover your "God"-parent! For those looking to register for Summer 2011, download the form here. |
