Brownstone Books is seeking experienced, part-time book sellers for our Bedford-Stuyvesant and Fort Greene locations. The ideal candidate(s) will have:

- A wide knowledge of books;
- Great customer service skills;
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
- Merchandising experience; and
- Availability on evenings and weekends
- Only mature applicants with a strong work ethic need apply.


Compensation: $8-$10 per hour (based on experience)

Directions to Brownstone Books in Bedford Stuyvesant from Manhattan & Downtown Brooklyn: 
A or C train to Utica Avenue, ride the back of the train (the very last car).  At the token both, exit through the right-side staircase directly into Fulton Park.  Walk through Fulton Park, (once you exit the park, you'll be walking northwards along Stuyvesant Ave.). Cross Chauncey St., Bainbridge St., and at Decatur St., make a left and walk one block to Lewis Avenue.  Turn right and cross Decatur. See Brownstone Books on your right.

Do you have a book or CD you would like to sell at Brownstone?
Authors interested in having Brownstone Books carry your published book, please do the following:

	Submit a bound copy for review or a copy of your CD (This copy will not be returned.)
	Enclose the contact information for person(s) responsible for distribution/management
	Provide contact information for at least (3) retail locations selling your book
	Provide any other information about your book, business cards, reviews, photos, etc.

Book signings will not be granted without a sales history at Brownstone Books.
A representative from Brownstone Books will contact you with consignment details.

A or C train to Lafayette Avenue, ride the back of the train (the very last car). Walk towards Downtown Brooklyn on Fulton Street and make a left at Lafayette. Or catch the G train to Fulton Street.
