Brownstone Books hosts many special events, including Children's StoryTime, Book Club Gatherings, Open Mic Poetry Night, and Book Signings. If you are unable to attend a book signing event but want to reserve an autographed copy of a book you may do so by calling the store at 718-953-7328 up until 5pm on the day of an event. We will be happy to ship your order. 

Children's StoryTime
Every Wednesday and Friday at 12 pm (one hour)

Rain or shine, StoryTime happens every Wednesday and Saturday at Noon so bring your little ones to hear Ms. Michelle or Ms. Carol read from children books such as, Good Night Moon, I Already Know I Love You, Mommy Carry Me Please, and Girls Hold Up This World.

Open Mic Poetry Night
Every 2nd Friday at 7:30 pm

RealPoetry, hosted by Chris Slaughter, is a night of poetry adventure, powerful storytelling, and good vibes. Stop by the Lewis Avenue location to be inspired and support local poets, writers, and word experimentalists! Every 2nd Friday of every month. Showtime at 7:30pm. Lewis Avenue location.
