Finding the
Courage to Write the Book Inside You
Using her experience as
an author and educator, Anika Nailah will
lead you through a series of exercises to
help you gain the courage and knowledge to
write the book you've always thought about
writing, but didn't know how. Come with questions
and an idea. Leave with tools and a plan.
Anika Nailah is the author
of Free and Other Stories,
a collection of short stories published by
Doubleday. She is also the Founder/Director
of Books Of Hope, a literacy empowerment project,
that has produced 83 authors in the Boston-area
community.
Advance registration preferred.
Limited to 20 participants. Ms. Nailah will
also be available to sign copies of her book.
Fee: $25 |

BOOK CLUB |

Our teenage book
club meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month
from 3:00- 5:00 PM. The club is open to
young men and women ranging in age from
13-18. As with most of our events, the teen
club is free and open to the public. Teens
receive a 20% discount on all book club
selections.
Because of vacation
and camp schedules, this club does not meet
in July and August but it has chosen a summer
book that will be discussed at the September
meeting -
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
by JK Rowling.
